Perimeter Check: Mandarin Oranges & Strawberries!

Doing the "perimeter check" early this morning (walking around the garden with a cup of coffee in my hand before work :-) ...look what I found!

Strawberries had miraculously appeared despite my utter neglect of the little plants all summer, and suddenly the mandarine oranges are ready! And the pyracantha berries are already "Thanksgiving Orange"! And does anyone else love white anemones as much as I do?

Enjoy! Have a great last day of September!

  1. Hi,
that looks exotic for me, strawberries and oranges together. We have strawberries in spring and oranges in the winter. But the colors are wonderful. Wish you a pretty October.
    Greetings, Johanna

  7. Beautiful composition of magnificent "on hand" elements. I'd love to stroll your ground with a coffee in the morning. Isn't it wonderful to harvest your own food? I gathered spinach from my garden yesterday for a morning omelet. Thanks for sharing your beautiful photos.

  19. I just love the colors. It is so beautiful. I am painting through synesthesia which makes me see colors when I hear names and numbers. These colors I transform in paintings. Colors are my life.
