Can you see these stunning wallpapers gracing your rooms? With this much elegance, you won't need a lot. Consider papering one wall, or above a chair rail, or even buying one precious roll and placing it on the wall within a frame of beautiful molding. There are many ways to enjoy these luxurious papers. And don't even get me started on those fabrics at the bottom of the post! Enjoy this visual feast!

I know, the French Macaroon is the darling of the blogosphere...we've all seen a zillion recipes and pictures of French macaroons... but this photo is so gorgeous, and nicely bookends this post, which started out with gorgeous cassis-color wallpaper, so this courtesy of les petits plats de trinidad, a favorite new blog from Marseilles.
Indulge yourself and those you love!
Cassis Macaroons
Martha Stewart's recipe in English here
They are very special, but great!
ReplyDeleteI like the dark-grey -white colored wallpaper most.
(I just saw the *étoiles de noel* in Trinidads blog. mmmmh)
Salut!

Dear Kit,
ReplyDeletethere's no *little* Provence for the moment.
In april I'll go to Saint Maxime. A long time to wait!
Have a good time.
It's cold in Germany, but with pretty snow!
Salut!

Thank you for sharing this! I have been trying to find some wallpaper to get for the dining room and what Fromental offers might be exactly what we've been looking for. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteHi Kit; I love wallpaper when it's used sparingly like you have suggested. I even love the idea of framing a section in on the wall, just behind a mirror or other wall art (kind of like the 'matt' behind the painting).
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing... and for not having your post be another Christmas decor post! Too soon for all this holiday decor overload... too soon...

I love the purple wallpaper in the first shot -- too gorgeous. And cassis macaroons?! How indulgent! I love a kir royale and these would go with my favorite cocktail perfectly.
ReplyDeleteI am a sucker for the sun mirrors! Can't get enough of them! And, those macarons are gorgeous. As someone who makes them it takes a lot of perfection to get them to look that good!
ReplyDeleteHmmm... maybe I should make some for the weekend!

ReplyDeleteI love wallpaper, Kit. My bedroom ceiling is papered and it's a nice way to wake up to the day. Macaroons are my inspiration for our January Metis collection. I love to see the variations & subtlety of the colors; have a wonderful weekend~
