Under the Wisteria

When the rains finally broke for a couple of days this week, I could see the wisteria on the arbor in all its glory! What better spot for a romantic little "dinner a deux" to celebrate the beginning of spring? Just before the winds picked up, I set a table and took some pictures. Within the hour, it was threatening rain again!

I used a vintage Provençal "boutis" (quilt) as a table covering
for its charm and romance

still trending strongly, single stems in old vintage bottles

a really perfect setting, we have had many wonderful gatherings
under this wisteria arbor

the view out our back french doors with
the wisteria in full bloom

the lavender desHouillieres china on silver chargers is
perfect complement to the wisteria

thanks for visiting! ... Kit

  26. I love Wysteria! Someday I'll have some... I hear it can be invasive and destructive if you're not careful though ... just keep it away from the house I guess! Lovely pics, lovely post!
